Who We Are

CSO Alliance in Bangladesh unites NGOs, CSOs, social enterprises, and think tanks to coordinate, engage, and negotiate with stakeholders.

Our Missions

🧤Coordinate and represent the overall NGO sector in discussion, constructive engage- ment and negotiation with the government, donor, private sectors, media and any other stakeholder.

🧤Enhance collaboration and collective action of NGOs and CSOs on national development issues and in large scale disasters and national crises such as COVID 19

🧤Advocate on issues of common interest of all NGOs in Bangladesh including advocacy on reactivation of the Government-NGO Consultative Council (GNCC) and

🧤Strengthen the sector and support members to adapt to changes in the external environment.

🧤Unified voice of all NGO and CSOs – The Alliance will work as a united voice of all NGOs and CSOs irrespective of size, origin and areas of work.

🧤Serving national interest and people of Bangladesh particularly the most vulnerable – all members of the alliance commit to serve national interest and interest of the most disadvantaged people of the country.

🧤Independence and autonomy of members – The Alliance and its members respect the indepen- dence and sovereignty of the member networks and individual organizations.

🧤Solidarity- All members of the Alliance commit to standing in solidarity with its members and actors of broader civil society.

🧤Trust and mutual respect – All members of the Alliance will have trust on their fellow members and respect each other.

🧤Gender-sensitivity and respect for other diversities – the Alliance and its members will strictly uphold gender-sensitivity and promote equality of all other forms and types of diversity, especially ethnicity, religion, disabilities and other markers of identity.

🧤Transparency and mutual Accountability – The Alliance and its members will ensure that all of our work is transparent, and we are accountable to each other and to those its members seek to

🧤Respecting Constitution and laws of Bangladesh – The Alliance and its members respect the Constitution and laws of Bangladesh.
